Transition lenses don’t darken effectively inside most vehicles because car windshields block UV light, which is needed to activate the tinting process. To get lenses that adjust while driving, you’ll need Xtractive Transitions, which react to both UV and visible light. They won’t get as dark as they would outdoors, but they do provide some tint behind the windshield.
