We offer a few different prescription lens styles, primarily Single Vision and Progressive lenses.
With Single Vision lenses, the prescription covers the entire viewing area of the lens. In some cases, when using extremely curved frame styles, a small portion at the outermost edge of the lens may not provide optimal optics. This is normal and does not affect the primary viewing area.
With Progressive lenses, there are multiple viewing zones built into the lens. All progressive lens designs have areas of distortion, particularly in the peripheral regions.
As a general rule, the flatter the lens and frame design, the better the overall optics and visual clarity.
