Photochromic refers to the general technology that allows lenses to darken in sunlight and lighten when UV exposure is reduced. Transitions® is a specific brand of photochromic lens.
All Transitions® lenses we offer go from clear indoors to dark in sunlight. Our Kontrast Photochromic lens is a proprietary sports performance lens that adapts to light, but it does not go completely clear. It maintains a slight base tint to enhance contrast and visual clarity in changing conditions.
