REKS is taking this concept up a notch by offering prescription sunglasses that let you experience durable, precision vision coupled with extraordinary comfort.

Freeform Digital Lenses for Superior Quality

This all begins with our freeform technology and digital generators which place the complete prescription on the back of the lens closer to the eye. This type of digital pinpoint manufacturing provides the capability to cut lenses to 1/100 of a diopter as compared to the traditional manufacturing process capable of a mere 1/10 of diopter accuracy. In providing a more precise prescription, these lenses are referred to as High Definition, or, in REKS-speak, Freeform HD Progressive.

The Increased Field of View Factor

By placing the prescription closer to the eye, the field of view is increased by some 30-percent – this is especially evident with our 8 base curved Wrap Around and Sling-Blade Sport frames wherein the HD lenses provide expanded peripheral views.

Clarity Enhancement

The REKS lens design also overcomes optical aberrations and the mechanical limitations of traditional lens manufacturing by way of more precise lens prescriptions. When implemented, this approach increases clarity of view by at least 20-percent.

SLING-BLADE

Perfect for average-sized male heads, the Sling-Blade glasses by REKS can only be described as “mission specific,” when maximum performance during serious competition is on the agenda. Tinted lenses and unbreakable frame material allow you to play your best game, with these high impact resistant lenses coming fully loaded with hydrophobic, scratch resistant and anti-reflective coatings to satisfy even the most demanding sports warrior.

SLING XM

Designed with women in mind who found little to choose from in the world of sport prescription sunglasses, the Sling XM line is comprised of smaller sizes and is available with the Trivex Color-Boosting golf lenses. Love the sporty style of the REKS Sling-Blade but have a smaller face? The Sling XM represents a scaled-down version of our best-selling line perfect for smaller heads. The most significant difference between the two is in the area of dimension – the lenses are 12mm smaller on the Sling XM, with a bridge that is 1mm narrower and temple that’s 4mm shorter.

WRAP AROUND

The wraparound sunglass style is considered a classic for good reason: with maximum protection from harmful UV rays and the best possible field of vision, wraparound sunglasses have it all. The REKS Wrap Around model offers the same great benefits as other sunglasses in this shape, but they’re virtually indestructible, which allows them to stand out in this crowded playing field. Made from advanced memory-flex polymer, these frames can survive almost anything and even boast a unique frame groove that ensures that the lens can only be ejected forward – just in case of an unfortunate accident with a golf putter.

WRAP XL

The only thing worse than a pair of sunglasses that keeps sliding off your face is a pair that pinches your temples. But that’s all a thing of the past when you put on a super-stylish pair of REKS Wrap XL glasses, a larger version of the uber-popular Wrap Around. These boast a total width of 138mm and extend to 144mm, making them an ideal fit for larger heads. Additionally, the lenses are 5mm wider than the original Wrap Around, offering a better field of vision for users with more prominent faces.
